Careers at Vancouver Film Studios
Unlike traditional Hollywood studios, VFS does not have an in-house Creative Development Department mandated with the acquisition and development of feature films, television programs, documentaries or animation projects. Accordingly, VFS does not hire directors, producers, actors or writers nor does it provide pre-production financing (or creative advice!) to film-makers. Instead, VFS sticks to what it does best: renting world-class sound stages and providing the production support services required by film makers who are not just hoping to say, “Action” but ready to say it.
VFS does, however, actively promote and support the Canadian film industry by supporting those organizations put in place to help film makers get their projects off the ground.
